Mario Lemme
Mario Lemme founded Lemme Insurance Group, Inc. (“Lemme”) back in May 1998. Mario has extensive experience in representing and advising major accounting, consulting and law firms with respect to their unique professional liability, employment practices, and management liability exposures. Mario’s reputation and relationships in the underwriting community have been influential in developing new insurance products as well as creating additional capacity for professional services firms.
During Lemme’s first 10 years, Mario served as the firm’s President, leading it through its formative years and various growth phases. Today, Mario continues to focus on counseling clients on the best professional liability solutions for their particular needs. In addition, Mario dedicates a significant amount of his time and energy to mentoring the newer members of Lemme in their individual and professional development.
Prior to starting Lemme, Mario spent 15 years with Minet, a global insurance brokerage firm, where he moved from Canada to open the Chicago office in 1994. Minet was subsequently acquired by Aon in 1997, and the following year, Mario left to form Lemme.
